What We Grow

Open Source Farm is currently operating on a half acre thanks to our dear friends who allow us to grow on their land.

Our focus is on dried herbs, tea blends, culinary herbs, and all-natural vegetables.  We grow many varieties of mint, basil, thyme, and other culinary herbs that are great for cooking. We are increasing our production of Yaupon Holly, a high caffeine native plant that doesn’t give you the coffee jitters and is a growing market on the upswing in the Southeast. We ensure that we use all-natural practices. We spray our plants with a homemade compost tea, which is composed of yard litter and kitchen scraps that are broken down by worms and microbes.
